The history of KUNZ Packaging GmbH begins with the investigation of plastic canisters in interaction with chemical mixtures in 2008. "In this "packaging stress test" I looked at many technical packaging and found the best performing packaging to be a "6-layer packaging" with a barrier function".

As the legislator requires companies to "use suitable packaging" when selecting packaging, the liability risk lies with the distributor of the product.

I have always been aware of this liability risk in my professional life in the chemical industry and it has fueled my curiosity and search for the best technical packaging solutions for difficult substances. I brought this knowledge to KUNZ Packaging GmbH in 2010 and have been helping customers to package their products safely and in the best possible way ever since.

Storage tests with the original product are also part of our work. We support our customers in the selection of suitable packaging and in many cases can offer a shortcut to time-consuming out-of-storage tests.

This knowledge distinguishes KUNZ Packaging GmbH from the traditional packaging trade. We invest in our own tools and work together with European producers to realize barrier packaging with high performance requirements.

We work very closely with hazardous goods approvals in order to create shapes in the packaging design phase that offer the prospect of very good results.
